Sure I might have a slight case of OCD and be a bit compulsive with the organization of my clothes, but I can be relaxed and let some things slide as well. I really try not to let my laundry pile up too much, but as the work week progresses, there are a few pair of shoes on my floor and some slacks and shirts on the ironing board or piled in the corner. My daddy is too kind to me as he went to my house to help me figure out a solution to a small AC leak that was dripping through the attic door in my closet. Turns out, he had to open the door, and rusty water gushed out and left brownish spots on a good portion of my clothes hanging below. Not too big of a problem, right? Well then he met an AC man to have him give a diagnosis on my issues, and thankfully paid for the dude's visit, so now I owe Mikey $200. That really doesn't fit into my budget right now, but even worse is that I see instructions for two more visits/procedures which will probably be double what the initial visit was.
So yesterday I was having a really good day, had dinner with some friends, and was going to go home to pick up the small items, have a relaxing bath with a glass of wine, give myself a pedicure and finish this book that has been pleasantly occupying ALL my free time! When I got home, the first thing I see was this AC invoice and a list of necessary follow-up procedures which starts to rattle my chain a bit. Then I head upstairs to do the little clean up I had planned on, but then I noticed that all my clothes (rusty-spotted clothes mind you) were piled up all over the floor so that the guy could work in the attic. All my nice organized clothes (by sleeve/pant length and color) were all over my floor, and the nice separate stacks of dry cleaning, tailored items, dirty items had all been conjoined. I about had a heart attack and just needed to close my eyes and pretend it wasn't all there. Instead of having a relaxing night, I just crawled in bed and fell asleep. I can't handle this - I took tomorrow off to go home and organize it all. UGH!
Don't worry, today was even better as I had an 8 am dentist appointment for a regular cleaning. The hygienist asked about this small bump on my gum that she thought was an abscess. I've had it for a few months but it doesn't hurt or anything and my tooth is fine, which is very uncommon for an abscess. They took all sorts of x-rays and then referred me to a specialist because none of the problems that cause these infections are present in my case. So that leads me to a specialist that can do an IV drip while I have a ... root canal! A FKN root canal!!!Are you kidding me? Seriously? Do people NOT know that I'm an overly anxious, obsessive, compulisive worrier? I need a strong cocktail of zoloft!!!
Oh well, at the end of today, I can have some type of relief because it's...
GAME DAY!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!
HOT BOUDIN, COLD COUS COUS, C'MON TIGERS - POOSH POOSH POOSH!!!
