What Exactly Is A Stanga Train?

Alright, alright - I've created a blog. I'm not one of those deep people who posts their emotions and poetry or anything like that, but I do enjoy telling funny stories and this is a way for me to keep everyone up to date on what's going on with me and the fam. Cara first gave me the idea when she started blogging her pregnancy and then Christy joined in on the fun. They encouraged me to create one, but I don't have kids, I'm not pregnant, not married - so really what is so interesting about me to blog? Then I remembered how a family friend, Christi B always said she enjoyed reading my blogs I had put on my MySpace page. Well not everyone has MySpace, and I just got really bad about taking the time to sit down and creatively tell my stories, so that soon fell off the to-do list. Yesterday, a funny happening that my two good girlfriends caused, forced me to sit down and write a MySpace bulletin and I remembered how fun it can be to share a few laughs via blogging. This morning when I found out more friends Chris & Danette had started an account, that was it. I'm done with the thinking about it, I'm doing it. So here it is - Welcome aboard the Stanga Train.

I can go ahead and give all the credit for the blog name to our family friend Keith. Apparently, he seems to think that each member of our family is a bit off the rocker and that we always have retarded stories. One night he was over at the house and the song Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne came on and he started singing along. Soon, Keith was singing his version of the lyrics and substituting Crazy for Stanga - they're synonymous I guess. Since that night, he just refers to anything Stanga as "Oh, there goes that Stanga Train again" and it has stuck. I couldn't think of a blog name any more appropriate. Thanks Keith!
Thanks for stopping by my page and check back regularly for new postings. I'm going to try my hardest to keep this up to date, and y'all can help by providing me with great new material to post.
