Honkey Tonk Heart and a Hilbilly Soul

Sure that may be the name of the song (if anyone actually knows that song,) but it also may the best description possible for my pal, Mr. Miller.
I'm the world's worst when it comes to listening to voicemails and actually deleting them, so if I save a message I need to reference in the future, I have to go through this long list of saved voicemails to get to the one I really want. Twas the case a couple of days ago, and the first message I had to listen to was one I have had from a year ago. Totally forgot it was on there and had a really hard giggle when I heard it again, so I had to use my camera (real high-tech like) to capture the true essence of what blares through the speaker when I answer the phone or listen to messages, or hell...even when it speaks in person.

(Warning: high frequency of F-Bombs.)

I don't know what was the best part about this whole ordeal - the ridiculously thick accent, the terms used - especially 'grain buggy,' the F bombs dropped, the fact that this is on a 500 acre ranch in the middle of absolute nowhere and I mean NOWHERE, the fact that the idiot didn't even use the 4WD on his truck which would have prevented this situation, the fact that he thought the best idea was to use a tractor that was already towing 20 tons of grain to pull a big ass truck out of the mud, the fact that this was in mid-July in Central Texas (hence 'Hotter than a Motherf*cker!) or the fact that I got pictures afterwards as proof.

This bad boy will make it through in 2 wheel drive, what are you talking about?

Don't worry y'all, I got this!

Oh, I still laugh every time I listen to the message or come across these pictures. If you aren't yet convinced that I associate with the countriest person EVER - maybe this little gem will change your mind.

You know, where would I be today if I didn't open myself up to different lifestyles and enjoy the fun? While I have a bit of country in my heart, but I don't think I'll ever reach the point of casually using the term "grain buggy." The next time you check up on me cowboy, just know this post is for you!
