Today is the last day I can say I'm in my early 20s. Tomorrow I turn 24, but am excited to be in the mid-20s...I think!?!? Lots has happened in the last year, and most of it I am proud to say I got to experience it. My last birthday started off amazingly, as I was in the middle of my 'Tour De France.' Here I am, spending my 23rd birthday amongst the chateaus and vineyards of Amboise.

As soon as I returned from my trip, I got to packing and closed on my house. I was in by the end of March. Within the first 48 hours after closing, I had a good portion of the downtstairs painted. I don't waste time!

During Easter, I went big country at Cheatham Ranch with friends and saw the heaviest snow I've ever seen. It was amazing!
Also, this year, I learned more and more about a certain bestie and only ridiculously crazy and fun adventures have come of it!
Later in the spring and into the summer, I was lucky enough to meet Jimmy Buffet, Kenny Chesney, Sugarland and Taylor Swift when the girls and I worked the backstage dinners at Pizza Hut Park!
I also started running and ran my first half-marathon, amongst plenty of other races.

During the fall, I experienced my first hunting trip and all that goes with it.
One of the highlights of my 23rd year can be split into 3 different events. Not only did I gain two more sisters (well not officially yet, but the engagement rings make it official enough for me,) I also found out that I'm going to be an aunt for the first time. Well, the first time I'll be an aunt by blood. (Blayne, I could never forget about you!)
Don't forget about that time on January 7th, 2008 when LSU beat Ohio State in the National Championship. I LOVED THAT! :)
I also really enjoyed the time I got to spend with my sister and her friends during Mardi Gras. It was a fabulous time - as you all know.
In addition to all these big things that I was fortunate enough to experience this year, I can't disgard the important relationships I've maintained or even made, the frivolous laughs and unexplainable stories, and the blessings that each of my family members and friends bring into my life everyday. I can't wait to see what the next year will bring for me, so bring on the big 2.4.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
