Finally, she opened her hand and it was a purple sweet tart with spots all over it. Now, believe me, I LOVE PURPLE SWEET TARTS, but of course I was a bit cautious when it came out of a 3 year old's slobbery hand. Blayne proceeds to tell me "This is for you. It's the last one. I got it out of the trash. I've been saving it for you for days!"
Thanks Blayne, you're too kind to think of me. Can't wait to play with you again lil lollipop girl!
PS - Happy 8th Anniversary C&D!!!
PPS - Blayne and I also did crafts where we made rubber iron-on shapes and stuff (I don't really know what they're called.) I chose the little girl template and was making a mini version of myself. The only red colored rubber things she had were bright red, so I used those for my hair. She was very confused why my mini-me had fire red hair. I said it's because I have red hair. She hasn't quite grasped the concept of red hair yet, so she looks at me with a snotty look and goes "Actually Laney, its really more like brown hair." Then she rolled her eyes!
