Queen Of The Jews!

That's right, this is my new official title and I couldn't be any more proud of it. This means I am ruler of all things thrifty, frugle, cheap, bargains - whatever you wish to call it.

I like to get ahead in life and add a few pennies to my wallet by playing a fun game I like to call Where Did My Prescription Go? Don't act like none of you have played this game *ahem...Danette.* Of course, if there is a coupon in the weekly ads for getting a $25 or $30 gift card for a transfered prescription, DUH I'm going to transfer it. It hardly causes me any problems, maybe just the occasional question of which store I actually need to go to, but it's totally worth it for the gift cards.

So last week, I clipped a coupon for a $25 card to Walgreens with a transferred Rx. I called CVS in University Park to have them transfer it to the Walgreens near my house so I could rack up my cash. I go to pick it up yesterday and the pimple-faced kid who was trying to work the register couldn't figure out my insurance information and denied my coverage. Whatever fool, I have coverage. How else do I get this same medication every single month? So I am ten kinds of pissed off and told him that I would just have it transfered BACK to CVS (the one in North Dallas this time) where they actually know how to submit an insurance claim. So all that for nothing...no free gift card and still no Rx. Oh, poop!

CVS said they'd need a couple of hours before my Rx would be ready, so I stopped back at home to do some chores and I just happened to look at the CVS ad while I waited and sure enough...*Get a $30 gift card with a transferred prescription.* HECK YES! I march in there proudly to claim my meds and free money, and I even get $2 CVS reward dollars off.

Had I not been such an opportunist, and not transferred the Rx to Walgreens (where those idiots couldn't figure out the system,)I would just be refilling a prescription that was already at CVS,instead of having to re-transfer the Rx back to where it originally came from, there being eligible for the $30 gift card. Geez, I'm good!

Thank God I am not the only one who does this!!! I'm sure my insurance company thinks I am some kind of junkie because I go somewhere different all the time...just depends who has the coupon!!
