All were very excited to celebrate Mark & Scott's 29th birthday last night at the Johnny Cooper acoustic show @ Hank's. It's a pretty awesome venue for a good 'ole time, minus their shitty customer service and overly-entitled bouncers. Mark, Maegan, Scott, Abby and myself, along with a few other friends, came prepared with our party shoes and drinking hats.

I was glad for the opportunity to throw on my boots and jeans, which always causes me to get a little out-of-hand. Back in March, I bought these awesome new boots, but they're kind of on the bright side. Kind of what you might find on Mexican (no offense) in a front-yard fiesta. It was seriously only about 45 minutes before I started showing off my boots. Can't guarantee anything, but I may have been spotted hiking up my jeans and displaying my footwear yelling Arriba, Arriba! Ayayayayayayaeeeeee! (Say the letter i 10times in a row, REALLY fast and end with a couple of high-pitched e's) and possibly a few Ahhhhhhh-haaaahhhh's. I'm going to go ahead and say that I was on a clear path of destruction, but the other 4 Stanga Train cars weren't too far behind from the madness.

It didn't take me too long to wander off from the group to the inside bar and began making a group of new friends. I squeeze my way up to a bar stool to order a frothy brew, when I was noticed by a group of 10 guys standing around shooting the shit. I'm a sharp girl, I can hang. The guy standing next to me was wearing a hat with a crimson-colored 'A' on it, so I immediately go "Oohhhh, you're an 'Bama fan. Do you honestly like Nick Saban?" His response was that he was pleased with him as a coach and a recruiter. Once he learns I'm an LSU girl through and through, we start a friendly SEC banter and then keep talking about other random crap.

MARK: (to me) Where the hell have you been? We've been looking for you!!!
MARK: (to my new friend) Alabama fan, huh? What do you think of Nick Saban? Y'all having a rough streak with some of your players?
NEW FRIEND (to me and Mark.) Seriously? I was just asked this an hour ago by her (pointing to me.) This is weird!
ME: (to new friend) Yeah, that's my brother.
NEW FRIEND: Ahhh, gotcha. That makes sense.
Mark finally leaves and about 15 minutes later, Scott does the same damn walk-through. He was excited to spot me and came immediately over to me.
SCOTT: (to me) Why do you always just roam around? You're retarded.
SCOTT: (to new friend) Oh shit, an Alabama fan huh? You liking Nick Saban so far? Couple of criminals on your team right now, eh?
NEW FRIEND: Holy shit! This is the 3rd time in 2 hours I've been asked this same question. It's like a broken record. And didn't you just ask me this 15 minutes ago?
ME: Yeah, that's my brother. My other brother, they're twins.
NEW FIREND: Oh my god! Y'all are just alike. What the hell is going on here?
As the concert ends, the whole group makes their way out of the bar and we all meet up and continue talking with our new rivalry friends. Um, pretty sure Scott invited them to his wedding and then to his house for an after party last night for a couple more beers. Like any of us needed anymore. So of course they join in on the fun and end up crashing on the floor of Abby's house too. We're pretty hospitable like that.
Bright and early this morning before 8, we were all pretty much awake and DYING. Mark and Scott claimed to still be drunk, Maegan had a little headache, Abby wasn't quite sure how she was going to feel the rest of the day and I pretty much knew for a fact that my day would suck! I was in RARE form last night, but I think we all were. At least we all had a great time, lots of laughs and a great memory of the boys' last birthday in their 20s. Happy birthday again brothers. I love y'all!
