Yesterday, I found a super cute reversable blue table runner, place mats and napkins on clearance. I always use opt for place mats instead of a runner, so I decided to change it up a bit this time. It wasn't totally a summer pattern, but I liked it too much not to get it. I tried looking for some plates or a centerpiece that would match and make it brighter, but no such luck. I'm not quite sure if I'm totally in love with the ensemble, but it's definitely summer-ish and I was able to use some things I already had. Why I have such random items, I'll never know.
I do have to admit however, that the napkins and runner aren't on a total mark-down clearance. I did stand in the store for at least 5 minutes debating if I should really buy something that was ONLY 30% off. What the heck, I'll just buy the damn things! But to make up for it, I did have a FANTASTIC deal at Albertsons this weekend, and I must share. If any of you drink the Lipton Green Tea bottles, they're on sale but the ad has it marked wrong. I specifically went there because the ad said there was a 24 pack of 16 oz bottles on sale for $5.99, instead of $7.99. Turns out, they don't make a 24 pack, but the sale sign in the store said a 12-pack was on sale for $5.99. I didn't care what the in-store sign said, the ad I got in the mail said 24, so I marched up there with my two 12 packs and was going to demand I get one free. It worked well with the manager, but the cashier had a fine time debating with me and trying to figure out how to take it off my total. BUT WAIT, I also found a sticker coupon on one of the 12-packs that said $2 off the purchase of two 12-packs. So for $3.99, I got 24 bottles of that delicious tea when I normally should have paid nearly $16. God, I'm the greatest bargain shopper EVER!

You forgot to mention how you got that great table setting at Target when you LEFT your SISTER behind even though SHE ASKED YOU if you wanted to go to Target.
